Appree Co—bringing nature into your office!

If you are like me and you fascinated by the wonders and beauty of nature then you are simply going to love 'Appree Co'.

Appree is a company based in Korea that provides a variety of office supplies inspired by the beauty of nature. This product is just one of the ways that you can bring nature into your office.

I am so tempted to buy a set of these post-it notes and create a cherry-blossom collage of notes in my personal office space.

Star Wars Brought To Life Through Paper!

I have always been a fan of the classic Star War movies with princess Leia, not to mention the dashing young Harrison Ford. So here is a beautiful rendition by Eric Power of the Star Wars Trilogy made entirely out of paper.

This piece is paired perfectly with the sinful lovely music by Jeremy Messersmith titled Tatooine.

Panty By Post

I am a huge fan of beautiful pretty things, in particular cute underwear. So every time I come across this site I just want to sign up for it and see what will be delivered to my door.

'Panty By Post' is such a fun idea, they send pretty French underwear in the mail monthly and you never know what you are going to get. It is always a new surprise and a special treat to you.

The only reason I haven’t signed up for it yet is the fact that I have too many cute pieces as it is.

Cleaner Science and Petri Dish Fun

These days I have been doing a lot of exploration within different groups and sites, which has been very inspirational, and has resulted in my discoveries of various talented craftsman.

To be honest, I am very excited to be part of such a creative community on etsy, and each day is a new adventure. On that note I thought I would bring forth a seller whose work I just fell in love with. It brought out the little nerd in me and shed a new light on what it means to be squeaky clean.

I present to you the Petri Dish Soaps!

These soaps come in all sorts of different colors and interesting textural patterns, not to mention a perfectly clean petri dish. If you have an appreciation for fun concept based products or you are looking for the perfect gift for an obsessively clean friend, then defiantly check this seller out.

Upside Down

Today I was introduced to this new artist, Paloma Faith. I find that she is a mix of Amy winehouse, Duffy and funnily enough the lead actress Billie Piper in 'The secret diaries of a call girl'. Don't you all agree?

I have to admit I am particularly in love with this video, I love the artistic creation behind it, with the fun pink, blue balloons and incorporation of the white, pink umbrellas. Definitely google her other videos.

Up-cycled And Beautiful

Ilanit Neutra creates simply beautiful bags. If you are an environmentally conscious consumer, than her products are right up your alley. Made out of inner tire tubes with individual graphic prints and markings, the ‘Neutra’ products are one of a kind and eco-friendly.

As tires are made from non-recyclable material and cause irreversible environmental damage, up-cycling like Ilanit does helps to promote a better future.

Delicious Logo Designs

So how does one craft great food illustrations? Here are a few examples in the form of a logo design series.

These are pretty innovative design solutions, and are great if you are looking for some inspiration that involve food.

Frankly I wish that I had found this earlier. It could have been useful inspiration for the second round of designs for a nutrition factsheet that I submitted for review to the client last night.

This is a great example of the concept that research begets design.

‘In virtually every subject area, our knowledge is incomplete and problems are waiting to be solved. We can address the holes in our knowledge and those unresolved problems by asking relevant questions and then seeking answers through systematic research.’

This got a smile and a chuckle out of me.
