Summer is about to hit!

By the looks of the crazy weather we have been having, summer is just around the corner! If you are like me then you can't wait to go out jogging in the parks and enjoying a cupcake afterwards.



Right across from Trinity Bellwood's Park is a really cute cupcake shop 'Dlish Cupcakes' and let me tell you they are well worth the price! Not only are they mouthwatering and simply yummy! but also little pieces of art work. The first time I had one I really did not want to ruin it.

It is a well deigned store that displays the goodies in a beautiful wood counter with clear glass—simple, effective and all about it's products.

Who Doesn’t Love A Good Cupcake?

These cupcakes are just too good to eat, they look like a piece of art in themselves. The only thing I know how to bake is bread, so people who can bake and create intricate cakes and cupcakes fascinate me.

Delicious Logo Designs

So how does one craft great food illustrations? Here are a few examples in the form of a logo design series.

These are pretty innovative design solutions, and are great if you are looking for some inspiration that involve food.

Frankly I wish that I had found this earlier. It could have been useful inspiration for the second round of designs for a nutrition factsheet that I submitted for review to the client last night.

This is a great example of the concept that research begets design.
