A picture is worth a thousand words.

Today I stumbled upon 'Erin Wallis' who is a professional photographer based in British Columbia. Her shots are simply fantastic, as you can really see the passion she has photography. I fell in love the style of her shots from the moment I set eyes on them—beautiful soft pastel tones that capture all the picture perfect moments of life!

A picture really is worth a thousand words! Erin would be a perfect match for someone who is looking for a family/wedding photographer.Just check out the link below to see more of her work.

Up-cycling at it's best!

I just came across an incredible tweet by 'Metamorphic Gear' that illustrates an incredible way to up cycle plastic bottles. This video really makes you think about what we take for granted and how something as simple as an item we discard everyday can brighten up someones life.Innovative, smart, artistic and functional! are the 4 words that pop into my mind when I saw this.

If you have seen any other ingenious ways to up-cycle plastic bottles feel free to share and let me know.

Summer is about to hit!

By the looks of the crazy weather we have been having, summer is just around the corner! If you are like me then you can't wait to go out jogging in the parks and enjoying a cupcake afterwards.

Right across from Trinity Bellwood's Park is a really cute cupcake shop 'Dlish Cupcakes' and let me tell you they are well worth the price! Not only are they mouthwatering and simply yummy! but also little pieces of art work. The first time I had one I really did not want to ruin it.

It is a well deigned store that displays the goodies in a beautiful wood counter with clear glass—simple, effective and all about it's products.

I just had to grab one of there little business cards:

Unnecessary deaths—The Hunger Games!

Lately I have been getting really into reading ebooks off of my new iPad, which took me a year to save up for.

*I have to admit I am getting a bit obsessed with the nifty little gadget :D*

So to keep up with my reading, since its been a long time! I joined a book forum called 'GoodReads' and came across an interesting post about

UNNECESSARY DEATHS! How many useless deaths do you think there were?

Interesting question! I have to admit I felt there may have been at least 3 (Prim, Cinna and Finnick)—the other readers who commented on this thread seemed to have come to the same conclusion. What about you? Who do you think should have lived?

Hunger Games

After months of my sister insisting that I should read the 'Hunger Games' I finally caved and read the first book, just on-time to also watch the premier of the movie right after. This inevitably lead to me reading the last two books back to back in a few days.

I won't give the plot away for those who have yet to read it but the first two books I found riveting and very enjoyable to read. As for the third one I just had to keep reading it because I wanted to know what happened between the main characters Katniss, Peeta and Gale.

Overall the third book was ok, but I did find that it strayed away from the general idea of the Hunger Games, and was more of a tool to tie up the loose ends of what happened to each character. But if anyone is looking for a new book to read I can do you two better, try out these THREE! and I promise you will have an enjoyable time.

I have also attached a link related to these books that you may find interesting to read (I sure did):
