6 Must See Designs By Klaus Burgel

My jaw simply dropped when I came across these designs by Klaus Burgel. If only I could buy each and everyone of his pieces.

Burgel, is inspired by nature and the sensual properties of the artist’s materials, which can be blatantly seen in the way he present his pieces. They are either presented in an unpolished state to show the impoverished appearance of the material, or in it’s utterly brilliant state.

I just love his amazing weighted pendants made out of semi-precious stones and gold.

Spirograph Jewelry

I used to love playing with spirographs when I was younger, using different colors and different shapes on top of one and other. So imaging how ecstatic I was when I came across these designs by Miette.

Miette creates beautiful delicate Spirographic jewelry that reminds me on my childhood. The pieces are very unique and can stand alone as a sculptural object.

I just spent the day running a few errands and came across a really cute clock necklace from urban outfitters. This seems to be a new trend this season—Antique clocks!

Not only did I notice this clock necklace, but also the clock accessories featured on the front page of Etsy today. So to keep with this current trend here a few cute clock accessories and products.

Designer Paper Effigies

I have to admit that these past few days I have been pretty bad with posting on my blog, but good news is today is the day I post the next 5 great treasuries. So stay tuned for that posting.

For now here is an interesting little story. Au Yeung Pin Chi a paper crafter who creates paper effigies in the shape of Gucci purses, Wayfarers and designer sneakers! These paper products are targeted to people who have died young, are fashion forward and brand obsessed.

Why create paper Gucci Purses?, Well incinerating paper symbols is part of the Chinese custom, to honor the dead and to deliver them to the deceased.

Making paper effigies of trend items makes death seem less frightening.

How interesting is it that we now create designer good for the dead? I have to admit I would want one of Au Yeungs paper effigies, as I cannot afford the real thing.

Lost in a field of dreams

The use of photography and visuals is a key component to expressing yourself and your creativity. It is also a medium many marketers use to draw a viewer in and express the message they are trying to get across. This is perhaps why I love the featured photos below, because they help you to enter into a world of make-believe and fantasy. Who here doesn’t like fantasy!

Just looking through them makes me feel like I’ve stepped into a wondrous musical or a period piece like Pride and Prejudice.
