Lost in a field of dreams

The use of photography and visuals is a key component to expressing yourself and your creativity. It is also a medium many marketers use to draw a viewer in and express the message they are trying to get across. This is perhaps why I love the featured photos below, because they help you to enter into a world of make-believe and fantasy. Who here doesn’t like fantasy!

Just looking through them makes me feel like I’ve stepped into a wondrous musical or a period piece like Pride and Prejudice.

The photographers featured are Eugenio Recuenco and Rodney Smith.

Also Don't forget to check out Kristy Mitchell, as she creates beautiful detailed shots similar to the two above. She actually goes through the process of creating all her own props and costumes that you see in her photos.

Delicious Logo Designs

So how does one craft great food illustrations? Here are a few examples in the form of a logo design series.

These are pretty innovative design solutions, and are great if you are looking for some inspiration that involve food.

Frankly I wish that I had found this earlier. It could have been useful inspiration for the second round of designs for a nutrition factsheet that I submitted for review to the client last night.

This is a great example of the concept that research begets design.

‘In virtually every subject area, our knowledge is incomplete and problems are waiting to be solved. We can address the holes in our knowledge and those unresolved problems by asking relevant questions and then seeking answers through systematic research.’
